Big Al's Pub Grubberia - Hampstead

This is, without a doubt, the worst chicken parmesan sub I have ever had. The chicken was made from frozen tenders, the kind you would normally heat up in a microwave. If you're going to serve frozen tenders, at least make sure they are crispy. I didn't even make it 15 minutes down the road before experiencing explosive diarrhea. The lack of customers on a Friday night was a clear indicator that this place was not up to par. The only positive aspect was the friendly waitress.

Definitely a gem worth stopping by! Lunch menu is loaded with awesome deals. Food was tasty and good portions. Our server did a great job; drinks were always full, food came out hot and she checked in to see if there was anything we needed just the right amount.

We had a great time at this restaurant. The wait staff was energetic and knowledgeable. I highly recommend trying the Moocho Nacho appetizer and the wings, especially the Buffalo Mild flavor. They were the best wings I've had. Our entire dinner was excellent. We will definitely be coming back soon.

If you are looking for the best burger in Hampstead, go to Big Al's. Size the Just a burger is at least a 1/3 lb after cooked to your liking, sitting on your plate. Pepper jack cheese, juicy tomato, nice ring of white onion, crispy lettuce all are part of a fantastic burger. I ordered crispy fries, a generous portion was part of the plate. Most cost effective burger in town, $7.69 with a side!

This my first visit. My food was great! The waitress went above and beyond for me. I will be back.
