The cost of one of those burritos is around $1 to $1.20, and the meat was less than three ounces—I double-checked. The shell contained only a few bits of pork, none larger than a quarter. Since I was with a client, I tried not to lose my temper; I recalled having a burrito there before that was filled with sizable chunks of pork, a generous handful of cheese, and tasted fantastic—all for just $12, including the salsa and drink. I've heard of being overcharged, but this takes it to a new level. The burritos lacked flavor, despite the menu claiming they contained marinated meat. I really don’t understand how they justify such high prices for what feels like fast food. The staff was great, friendly, and cheerful, and they had no explanation when I inquired about the price increase on my way out. This seems to be a trend at the Hampton location, as I can order the same meal at their Maine location and get free salsa for $22—what a significant difference! I frequent the Maine place, and I even called them to ask about it. Despite the friendly staff, I won't be returning to the Hampton location unless I hit the lottery. It's disappointing to see a $30 profit on what should be a $2 investment.
Las Olas is a beloved institution in the Seacoast community. While many restaurants are unfortunately closing, my husband and I have been doing our best to support our local eateries. Their curbside pickup has been a great convenience during these challenging times. We truly enjoy taking out from Las Olas. The food is packed with flavor, and the portions are generous. I've tried several items on their menu, but I always find myself returning to their black bean bowl. Additionally, their salsas are creative and fresh, with my personal favorite being the carrot and habanero salsa. Everyone should give Las Olas a try; the quality of their food far surpasses that of any fast food chain, and the prices remain quite affordable.
We get food from Los Olas like once a week. They have crazy good quesadillas. They give you a cheese queaasilla and then pile everything on top. I'd never seen it done like that and it's crazy good. I'm also a big fan of their tacos and nachos. Haven't disliked a single thing yet (except the occasional long line!
Really love the freshness, Quesadillas are awesome with the Chimi, Fair prices with great portion sizes..
This place is a staple for us! Excellent food and always consistent. My fave is the carrot habanero salsa. Yummy!
