I had thee best Kale Based smoothie (accompanied with almond milk, passion fruit, and pineapple) here! It blew TSC 's Detox Island Green out of the water. I also got an enegizer suppliment added to it and it perked me right up. Planet smoothie gave me everything I needed, both delicious and healthy. I looked them up and apprently they 're a chain smoothie place (3rd in the nation) by the same owner of Moe 's. I wonder why more people in HR aren 't talking about Planet Smoothie, but it 's most likely because the only HR location is located inside the student center of Hampton University. I 'm going to need them to expand with more locations in the near future.
This restaurant is exclusively for students and does not take phone calls or allow public access.
Located in the student center of Hampton University, the restaurant has been recently renovated. The atmosphere is fresh and inviting, and the smoothness of the food is truly outstanding.
This is the worst smoothie place I've ever been to. Some of the staff seem completely clueless about how to make a proper smoothie. I'm not sure if it's due to poor training or just a lack of interest, but my experiences here have never been positive. This time, I tried the Mountain Man Crunch, which was probably the best option I've had there, but it still fell short. They really need to add more ice, as it turned out extremely watery. I know smoothies can be on the thinner side, but it shouldn't be thin enough to drink like water. With every sip, I was reminded of eating something unpleasant just because I was hungry. Of course, I didn’t have to eat it, but I didn't want to waste my money. I had to force myself to consume something—was I really going to tackle this monstrosity before me? It made me feel terrible; I could almost imagine being stranded on a deserted island with only this to eat. The thought was quite unsettling, and I wouldn’t wish that experience on my worst enemy. As a college student, I have a limited budget, so I rely on university meal credits. Now that the campus cafeteria is closed, this is all I have, leaving me with empty calories, an empty wallet, and an empty feeling inside. Congratulations, smoothie place, you've truly managed to reach the bottom of the barrel!
Pina colada?
