Sal's Ny Pizza- King Street - Hampton

I love sals ny pizza. Sal’s was before the best years and until today I want to believe that it can still be in my head. I usually order their meat lovers who are wonderful. but today I tried to convince my caregiver to order here instead of two other hand torn crust restaurants. I finally convinced her. she ordered a pizza with ananas. the crust was burned, hard and dry, barely cut. now can happen accidents that restaurants are busy. but after my helper was called and rudely dismissed with the suggestion she calls back in 5 minutes. I couldn't go because I was advertising for her, so I called back. I spoke to the person responding and after hearing his answer was “now what they want me “. I was missed so I answered idk, maybe an apology would do, but I did nothing or even apologies for them, but at least an apology. stuff happened. but this is not a good customer relationship 05/06/2022

Sal's NY Pizza on King St in Hampton, VA is the real deal! My family and I eat here a few times a week and the pizza is the best I've had in Virginia. We lived in New Jersey for 22 years so we know good NY style pizza - thin, crispy crust, perfect cheese, and flavorful spices. The food is delicious, including subs, wings, and dinner entrees like lasagna. The desserts are also amazing, especially the 7-layer chocolate cake and cheesecake. The staff is friendly and treats you like family. The prices are cheaper than other places but the quality of food is the best. Sal's NY Pizza offers a great dining experience with excellent customer service. It's clear that they put a lot of love into their food.

I first ordered online and went to pick up my order. I was shocked when I came in. this place is dirty before loading. I can't imagine what it looks like in the kitchen. I'm sorry I ordered, but I still picked up my order. I ordered the genoa salami sub there was no salami in the base, only a thick piece bologna completely disgusting. I've thrown everything away because I was afraid I'd be sick if I ate what it was. I'll never go back!

Pizza had no taste. a white pizza ordered. extra cheese. never had ricotta on white pizza and no crushed garlic guck. ordered a supreme pizza and I had to give my own Italian season just to give it a taste. they were not good newy yorker pizza. I don't know what they would call. she was ordered because a friend recommended her.

The food is fantastic and the service is incredibly friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this place for a date or a casual hangout with friends. I particularly enjoy their wings!
