Tiki Joe’s Meschutt - Hampton Bays

I visited this beach for the first time and decided to stay overnight to enjoy the live music at Tiki's, which was decent. However, I was disappointed with the watered-down and tasteless drinks. As another reviewer mentioned, it's not worth purchasing cocktails at the bar as they are underwhelming. While I understand drinks can be expensive, I don't want to feel like I'm being ripped off. Tiki Joe's should improve the quality of their drinks to encourage customers to buy from the bar instead of bringing their own. I also noticed that the staff at Tiki's were vigilant about ensuring patrons only had drinks purchased at the bar. Overall, there is room for improvement.

The restaurant has a lively atmosphere with great drinks, but unfortunately, the food did not meet expectations. The location by the water allows for a beautiful sunset view. Overall, I would rate the food as 1 out of 5.

We recently hosted our daughter's half birthday party for the second year in a row at Tiki Joe's Meschutt Beach Hut. They are fantastic. Elyse helped us plan the party, and Yvonne and her staff made sure everything ran smoothly on the day of the event. They were all exceptional - very thorough and accommodating. We highly recommend these ladies and their staff! As for kid-friendliness, both the children and their parents had a wonderful time at the party.

CUSTOMER BEWARE. I ordered two margaritas on July 2nd roughly between 3 and 4 pm. I did not leave a tip due to dissatisfaction with how they were made basically ice and when I asked for less ice he added seltzer. It didn’t even taste like a margarita. I later noticed on my bank statement that the bartender added an unauthorized $5.00 tip. First DO NOT order mixed drinks here. Second check your bank statement. If he did it once he surely has done it before and will do it again. I truly hope this employee who is committing credit card fraud gets fired.

I have seen the best summer sunsets in this place. Recommended, also on Wednesdays for Latin rumba is the best.
