Captain Jay's Fish Chicken - Hamtramck

I will never go back to this restaurant again. The chicken was old and made me and my children sick, causing stomach pain and bathroom issues for two days. They never get the order right. I will be contacting the health department.

I called in my order and picked it up about 10 minutes later. There was no wait when I arrived. When I got home and opened my food, I found that the chicken tenders were good but the tilapias were burnt and covered in lemon pepper. I called the restaurant to inform them of the issue and they asked me to bring my receipt back to the store for a replacement. When I went back to the store, they refused to make me a new batch, claiming it was not their problem. I spoke to the owner and received the same response.

The fried chicken at this restaurant was excellent.

The food is okay. The shrimp is fine but small for a 10 piece combo. I'm not a fan of the fries at all. I've never been a fan of this style of fries. I probably should have got the fish instead.

It’s dirty they want even clean the glass that have the dessert stored in it. The staff rude dirty looking . Just because you work in the hood doesn’t mean you have to look like it first and last time coming
