Blu Beach Grill - Hanahan

I went back to the restaurant, but the staff seemed to think this was perfectly normal. For a hotel restaurant with generally high ratings, I was really perplexed by the quality of the food. It felt very careless. If I ever stay at this hotel again, I will certainly avoid dining here.

After sitting for an entire hour, our food finally arrived, only to be informed that there were no steak sauces available, nor any other condiments. The vegetables that accompanied the meal were unappetizing and lacked flavor. When the bill arrived, I was shocked to see it totaled $106 for a meal that I could have enjoyed much more at any other steakhouse, where the service is better and prices are lower. I would not recommend this restaurant at all.

The atmosphere is wonderful! We really enjoyed the view. However, the service was slow, and we were overlooked multiple times before we finally decided to speak up. When we received our food, it was cold. Unfortunately, we encountered the same issues during a return visit. I'm hoping this was just a result of understaffing.

We visited Blu Beach Bar Grill while we were in Folly Beach during this winter and couldn’t have found better choice. Folks there were super friendly and the place was empty because we arrived when the restaurant opened, which was great for us. Savoredtasty dishes and enjoyed the beautiful view of Folly Beach.
