Your server Abigail was very attentive, but did not float excessively. The manager checked them all. He was very nice and came to us to let us know that she made us another meatloaf that he felt the first should be burned. We had the Jacked Up Meatloaf, the meat hat with Jack Daniels BBQ sauce, Cole slaw, Sweet Potato fries. It was very good. We also had The Blue Ridge. All grilled chicken, Pulled Pork, Hickory Smoked Ham, Smoked Gouda Cheese Sauce. A double side of Mac Cheese. The food was hot and cooked as it should be. The price was not bad for the food we have. They also started a reward program. 4 visits get you a free dessert, I think 6 visits is a free appetizer, 8 visits free entree $ 16.00 limit. We're going back. Thanks for having a great meal. This is another place we need to support.
Found this place for our date night. A great farm to table American restaurant. The Preztel Melt Burger and Fries were delicious and the apple pie was warm right out of the oven. My wife also really enjoyed the Turkey Avocado Panini. They also have a nice a little farmers market attached to the restaurant for some take home goodies. Will definitely return here.
If you ask the server about how the restaurant prepares its steaks, don't believe them when they reply that the steak will be grilled over a live flame. It ain't true. The 12-ounce prime last weekend was darn near boiled. Not broiled. Boiled. Utter disappointment. The choice of sides was dismally limited as well, and we're at the tail end of the local vegetable harvest. While I must admit the meat was tender, my impression is that it had been boiled like a stew. I searched out the Cider Press based on a suggestion from somebody I thought I could rely on for decent tasty recommendations. There was a manager- or owner-type walking around doing verbal high fives with customers and employees in the most insincere manner. He couldn't be still for long enough to hear of any potential complaints from anybody. Decent atmosphere, but give the chef a leave of absence and hire a grill master if your servers insist on telling patrons that the steaks are grilled.
We tried this restaurant for the first time this year, we were back several times, especially for the smokers. You're so good! Her salads are also really good, especially with the apple wine vinaigrette. Tonight they had a crab mac cheese special, it was definitely one of the best things I've ever ordered in a restaurant! I hope they soon have it again because the Mac cheese was perfectly cheesy, and the old bay bread drunk was crispy not too salty, the crab meat above was sweet tasty. A small lemon, it was absolutely perfect!
