The Soup Lab - Hancock

The tomato bisque is fabulous! Can't wait to go back and get the Four Cheese to dunk in it!

Great food. A nice selection of soups and sandwiches with excellent, fresh bread. They also have biscuits and cornbread. If you loved Racers Burger Bistro and were, like me, depressed when you heard it was closing, you can finally get out of your funk. The soup lab is run by the same great folks and has the same great quality of food. The schedule is scaled back to an ample lunch time Monday through Saturday, and they have great sandwiches, many based on the same great bread they used for the racers grilled cheese sandwiches. I, of course, hope they find a home for their burger operation, but this place brings the same kind of generous portions and quality you got used to from racers. We tried an excellent tortilla soup, a Buffalo chicken sandwich, chips made fresh, and a biscuit and then crawled out of there with the rest of it in a box. I get the impression that these excellent cooks wanted a chance to pursue some more variety and creativity, and it's working. I will definitely be back.

The Elvis is seriously the best sandwich I've ever eaten in my entire life. FABULOUS!

Used to be the best burger to be, but after a redesign of the whole restaurant they still have large burgers (but with limited options in comparison to before) despite a menu that concentrates on suppe and sandwiches. would recommend the grilled pb

I was sad to see Racers close but The Soup Lab is everything you loved about Racers but with a cool twist. The soups are excellent and the sandwiches are delicious. The portion sizes make it worth the trip. Strongly recommended. Hope the burgers can be put on the menu one day :
