Toshiko Japanese Cuisine - Hanford

Expect decent, but very Americanized Asian cuisine. The tempura was enjoyable, though not what I would anticipate from traditional Asian dishes. The sushi was average; the fried rolls were quite Americanized, but the Tiger roll was quite good.

Two of the same reels were ordered at 15:20. We were told 20-30 minutes so that the reels are ready. We arrived at the restaurant and the reels were not ready yet, and then we waited another 50 minutes until the reels come out. When we asked if the roles were in the works, we were told no, but we could not cancel the order. More than an hour to make two roles with only three people in the restaurant when we came in to pick it up. We won't order from here again.

My food was delicious. How good. I have the chicken teriyaki bowl a la carte, the meat was so tender and perfectly cooked with Teriyaki sauce. It was served on a good part of the white sticky rice. Then I got a shrimp empura roll $12 and a good part. I couldn't finish this, but tomorrow a nice part for lunch. They were pretty busy and I waited 15min when I ordered my decision. Pleasant staff and easy to find with many parking spaces also. I dropped a pen here. I'm back.

This restaurant has made notable improvements since my last visit. The ramen was delicious, and the service was outstanding. I'm really happy we chose to dine here tonight.

I've visited this restaurant before and always had a great experience with the wait staff, but they have really stepped up their game! I took my son here for his birthday and didn't mention it until later in the meal. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the food was fantastic!
