Qing Xin Vegetarian - Hangzhou

Popped by fro lunch and fell in love. The food was great, traditional Chinese dishes in a buffet style restaurant. You pay 25RMB and it's an all you can eat system. The dishes are not labelled and the staff as far as I am aware do not speak English as they are volunteers. So you may have to ask in Chinese if something contains egg or milk but for the most part its quite easy to tell and most dishes are completely vegan. I ate to my hearts content and it was nice to sit amongst people I didn't know, especially if you speak Chinese people might come up and ask about you which reflects the community style setting.

LOVE this place. We went one night at almost 7pm and they were closing, only a few dishes left, so the nicest lady ever let me make a plate for free! Good food but I couldn't imagine how amazing it would be the next day for lunch they have 100 dishes, hot stations, soups, SO MUCH food. And it's only 25 rmb! That's insane!! But go early. We got there at 12:30pm ish (it was packed btw), and by the time we went to get second rounds half it it was already cleaned up and the hot station side was closed! So the hours are very haphazard but you must go. Everything was delicious too. Vegan stuff is not marked (nothing is labelled) but I think it's easy to make educated guesses.

I ate my heart content and it was nice to sit among people I didn't know, especially when they speak Chinese people coming and ask them about them that reflects the community style setting.

Located on second level of Yinshi （隐市）. Eat all you can buffet for 25 RMB. Typical Chinese dishes. They have a really wide variety, from soups to vegetables to buns, noodles and pancakes. Yeah, it's cheap, but the food wasn't fresh and was super oily. I wouldn't come back
