Essie Tearoom And Bistro

Sophistication balanced with quality and price is hard to come by nowadays. I used to like cafes when I could relax without having to queue for a lot time and wait for a table to be vacated in many coffee shop, most particularly ones that are chains of cafes. When I finally sit and ready to relax with my book and fave Cappuccino, the other cafes would play most un-relaxing Rihanna song or up beat song that makes you feel like you're in a bar. Or, you'd be like in a classroom where the 70% of the crowd is in front of their laptop, doing their homework. Otherwise, other cafes would be like night bar where you can smell people's smoke and they talk loud. This is exactly what Essie is NOT. I used to bring my cat here, he stays in the crate but still enjoys the mood of the cafe. Essie's might be my favorite cafe in the whole world. Lovely garden cafe, rustic interior with great quality of wooden furniture. All staff is bilingual and very courteous, the owner is very nice too! Essie's is the perfect place to read your book and enjoy the nature while in the middle of the city. Joma is nothing compared to this. I just really love this place and I hope they can maintain it the same way for a long time. I really love their sophisticated choice of music there too. <3

Beautifully decorated, fantastic food menu, well executed and friendly staff! What else do you need? My new favourite spot in Tay Ho for breakfast and afternoon tea!
