Forget Bia Hoi Corner. This place is the real deal. I always come here when I visited Hanoi. Beer is from that day. Sit down, have a few glasses and watch the locals while drinking away in the afternoon.
Old school Old Quarter bia hoi joint that's busy with locals all day long. The beer is not super cheap (12k a glass) but it's better quality than at the bia hoi junction and the glasses are bigger. There's food, too, but it's more of an afterthought and quite pricy. But it's the beer and the atmosphere that make this place
Had two noodles dishes sauteed seafood noodles and beef pho. The former was nicer than the latter; downed with their customary light beer.
OK place to eat. I guess if you are into drinking you'll enjoy it more. Lots of locals getting drunk from lunch time and speaking loudly. I had the fried rice and morning glory, both tasted OK, nothing outstanding. But they do have a English menu and wide selection of dishes to choose from. Best if you go with more people.
