Fortune Pizza - Hanoi

We had an excellent pizza with very friendly staff. ingredients were fresh and the pizza base was a perfect consistency and well cooked. I will highly recommend this place, although not the cheapest, but if they expect to pay a premium after the western kitchen. Thank you. that is a good idea

Found by chance and was pleasantly surprised, the best pizza I had for age. Friendly staff, genuine Italian ingredients, good beer, and the passion fruit dessert à la creme brulee was so refreshing! While I am in Hanoi, I will return to definitelly to have a break between Pho and Rolls :

A beautiful little pizza place hidden in a small ally next to the cathedral. Never before had to be paid in an Italian restaurant for bread, but the food was good to let them go. The place was empty so the staff sat and went quite loud next to our table. Buuut, the food was nice, so it's okay. Overall a decent experience and would eat there again, cos, did I mention the food was nice?

I wanted to like this place, but a few factors prevented it. It 's not bad, but I feel that it has room for improvement. The quality of the Pasta Arrabiata seemed like it was microwaved pasta, and the butter for the bread was ice cold and unspreadable. There are numerous power outlets throughout the restaurant, which would seem perfect for tourists and locals alike; but alas, none of the ones near me worked. The staff are friendly and helpful, but that 's about where the positive aspects of the restaurant finish. The bill is given to you in a Visa credit card holder, and there 's a Visa sticker on the door... But they do not (currently) accept credit cards. Cash only (as of January 2020). Disappointing.
