Ho Tay - Hanoi

The staff is very friendly and offered me a Chinese menu once they found out I was Chinese. They recommended delicious dishes that were very tasty. I ordered a bowl of vegetable noodles and some spring rolls. I highly recommend this restaurant!

To find this restaurant, enter Lane 56 on Duy Tan Road and turn right at the first small lane inside. Take a walk illuminated with lights until you see number B20-21 on the right side. The menu may not offer a wide variety of dishes, but the ones we ordered were satisfying. We enjoyed the Vegetarian Fish with Lemongrass, Oriental Canna and Chili (a homemade dish made from seaweed and soybean leaves), the Salted Vegetarian Chicken Agitated (actually floured king oyster mushrooms fried with black fungus and lemon leaves), and the Sour Mushroom Soup. We also tried the hot pot, which was delicious.

The restaurant is located on two roads, making it a bit challenging to find. It is recommended to use the address and street name to locate it. The locals are very friendly and helpful. The service at the restaurant was fantastic, with the waiter being extremely friendly and even offering to take one of us to the bus station because we were short on time. The food was good, and we even received complimentary soup.

Our taxi driver had a little annoyed to find the restaurant, but finally on our second round of the streets. the menu had both English and Vietnamese, which was great, as our server had a little hardship to understand us. eating was fast, tasty and very satisfying. the price was also great.

To find the restaurant follow the instructions from previous reviewer but take alley 76 instead of 56. Our food was good but could contain artificial flavouring, as stated by others. The place is very clean and the food arrived promptly. Staff/family was really friendly and kept giving watermelon to our kids.
