I had the chicken and maize soup and the bark meat salad. both so delicious friendly service. super busy, which is a good sign! the prices are so good and they have a large upper floor with more tables. they also have a buffet that most locals eat. my partner got the sweet and acidic pork ribs and omg they are a must try! super amazing.
The food is tasty but the service is unexpectedly sooo bad. When I ask for fresh chilli, the staff just impolitely replied that I should go and get one, and didnt tell me where. We came here another time because the food is good and the place is near my house. This time, we had to self-serve, got the menu, wrote the orders ourselves; then waited til the staff appeared and gave it to her. The food came out and if you want anything more like chilli or sauce or a bowl, you have to go and get it yourself.
The impression that I remembered about this eatery are the unfriendly staff and bad command of English. I repeated myself a few times, and they still do not understand. Moreover, the food is seriously overrated and I felt the standard among other international branches are not consistent at all. It is also hard to find this place, thus I would not recommend anyone to go because there are much better plant based food in Hanoi. Lastly, I find something really strange and weird. They always have this placard with unusual capitalization, These Smart, Beautiful, Talented People are Vegan and Vegetarian. Why aren't you It seemed like an odd question to pose in a restaurant where people had come specifically to eat vegan food.
This loving hut is excellent! The service is friendly and prompt. I usually order the com suat (office rice set) and it's a great portion of food for a very cheap price. Their soups are also very good.
Dined here today for lunch. Busy place and service was good. Please let them know when ordering you like all ur order to come together not in dribs and drabs. I had 2 fresh spring rolls, mixed vegetables (braised chinese cabbage with carrots), fried noodles with vegetables (noodles boiled with onions, carrots, a few shitakes, greens and processed soy looks like gluten which i left), was a bit salty for me. Finished with fresh lemon juice was great. Bill came to under 90.000 around $4. I noticed they served the regular com suat 20.000d $1.
