Rastaman Pub - Hanoi

This is a small, family-run bar along the lake with outdoor seats. They sell cheap, cold beer in a relatively small (kozy) room. The bar itself brings me back to Saigon in the early 90s with a nostalgic feeling. If you are looking for a place to get the Munchies or the Giggles, it is quite obvious that this is a place that can help you. At the hot Hanoi evening I was there, I was particularly remarkable for the air conditioning. I couldn't really find out if it was a tourist bar or an expatriate ringout, but it was definitely cold.

Very nice and cool place, the prices are very good I paid less than one euro per bottle of beer). When I left, a woman sold fried chicken and it was delicious.

Never been in Jamaica, but I think this pub is the closest you can get into the Jamaica experience without leaving the Tay Ho area. Did not last long and get nothing, not really the kind of space to chill. Sketchy place but Vibes are wet.

Go here if you want some good greens in Hanoi ; have a beer there too
