Feedback gevenThis is our go to place going up to our cottage and back home again. The staff are great to deal with and provided us with a dish of water for our dogs.
I have visited this restaurant three times recently and each time they were unable to serve chicken. I have spoken with other customers who have experienced the same issue. However, the server was pleasant during each visit.
I spent 1.5 hours in the drive thru for cold food and terrible treatment from staff at the window. If my order hadn’t been prepaid, I wouldn’t have bothered (the line extended onto the main road). The way the situation was handled was an absolute disgrace. In my 1.5 hours in the line, I witnessed multiple vehicles pull around and people get out of their cars to bang on the locked doors in an attempt to return wrong orders. It would have been better to close the restaurant for the night. I’ve never experienced anything like it at a “fast” food restaurant. I’ll never go back.
I don't understand how a Swiss Chalet/Harveys restaurant can run out of chicken at 1 pm on August 21. Someone at Swiss Chalet's head office needs to re-evaluate their management. This is unacceptable and clearly shows a lack of care for the customer. On top of that, the restaurant was not clean.
We stopped for lunch at the Swiss chalet Harveys in Hanover last week with friends. The food was great but the customer service was outstanding. The staff seemed genuinely happy to be there and getting our order correct was important to them. We really enjoyed our meal and the great customer service was appreciated. We will be back! Well done!!!
