Queen’s Bush Pub - Hanover

Hubby got the ribs and I got wings. Good pub food. Ribs were tender, fall off the bone with very tasty sauce. Wings were meaty and sweet chili tai sauce was good and hot. Definitely recommend this restaurant.

Two friends and I had dinner there last night, first night out in 6 months. Food was good but our server, Chantelle, went above and beyond to make people welcome. Even with her mask on, we could tell she was smiling : Hope she sticks around, she is a definite asset to the Bush.

We decided to celebrate our anniversary with dinner at QB. Due to Covid, there weren't many options available, but we had enjoyed a meal at QB a few years ago and found the food to be fresh and creative. This time, however, we were disappointed to find that the menu seemed generic and typical of a Sysco establishment. The "fresh cut" fries turned out to be frozen, which was a letdown. My husband's burger was made from a frozen patty with no flavor, despite claiming to be made from fresh beef. My wrap was the only enjoyable dish. We sat on the outdoor patio on a Saturday afternoon, and despite being short-staffed, the food arrived promptly after we ordered. Our server was initially unfriendly, but eventually became more pleasant. Unfortunately, with the new ownership, QB has lost its originality and become a standard restaurant. We won't be returning. I suggest the owner adjusts the menu to accurately reflect the quality of the food - fresh should mean fresh, not frozen. Cheers!

Place looks nice, service good. Food bad. Had fish and chips, didn't finish a quarter of it. Wanna box to take home? No thanks. Gave up, had better Captain Highliner. Family member had club, but didn't touch the fries. I just moved to the area, basically around the corner. First and last time there. You got me. Sorry, everything seems so mailed in these days.
