Flacos House - Harbor Creek

Food is AMAZING! Everything else sucks but the food makes me stop every time I'm driving through the state. 30 to 45 minute wait EVERY SINGLE TIME. Doesn't even matter if you order online. But the nachos are the best ever. Everything is good.Food: 5/5

I went to this place after reading the positives reviews and its close proximity to my hotel. I ordered the California Burrito and Elote to go. The food was cold. Mind you, my hotel was 3 mins away and the food I received was barley warm. The only thing that made my burritos warm was my fries. If it wasnt for that, it would seem as if they got my food out of the fridge and served it that way. Not sure if this had to do with me going in 30 minutes before they close, but you would think considering how hot it was in that place that my food would be at least warm. The elote was cold AF too. The corn was super cold and inedible. Im guessing here, but maybe, just maybe if the food was at least warm, it may of tasted good. Not sure if this was an anomaly but I wasnt impressed and extremely disappointed.

After reading favorable reviews and its close proximity to our hotel it seemed a safe choice. Here's what happened. We walked into a line of three. After two minutes with no movement or attendance we saw a counter online pickup sign suggesting these orders are fast alternatives to ordering in person at the counter. We walked out to the car and ordered a 4 Taco Drink special for $10.95 and a Burrito Bowl. We received an automated attendant email with a time estimate window. We came in at the middle point and they still had others waiting but now they resorted to sitting. After waiting twice as long they announced our order. I immediately noticed no drink. This caused a debate among employees but over what, I couldn't tell. They politely handed me a canned Coke and we left. We had been there 45 minutes. We got back to our hotel and my tacos had missing items. The food wasn't bad, but it wasn't flavorful. Certainly not enough to overcome the wasted time and lack of on point effort. I don't write this with anger or some need to get accountability etc. I wanted to dismiss the experience due to being understaffed or something. But I had witnessed three employees at the counter working throughout the time we were there. It's just one experience. Maybe it's an anomaly.

I swear I often crave their horchata and elote... particularly when I was pregnant.. they serve really good food!
