Great food great service, good parking great facilities.do I recommend yes I do all home made and cale for money.

We held our Christmas party at The Shires yesterday and it was fantastic. The food, staff, and venue were all excellent and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. We had a wonderful time and want to thank everyone at The Shires. We will definitely be returning. Merry Christmas from the Cosby Friday Walkers (40 of us).

I have just visited and me and my family were delighted by the large menu, fast service and friendly staff. The portions were huge and absolutely delicious. Would definitely recommend!

Had a lovely time celebrating my son's 18th birthday. The carvery was fab so were the other meals chosen from the main menu. The staff service was also very good.

I arrived for the Sunday carvery after booking a table, but had to wait nearly 30 minutes at reception without any staff acknowledging us, which was difficult with a 3 year old. Finally, we were seated at a table that was already prepared. The carvery itself was excellent, probably one of the best in the area. However, after paying, I realized that my deposit had not been taken off. When I called to address the issue, I was met with a rude manager who even made a mistake with my refund/deposit. It was a disappointing experience and I do not plan on returning.
