Despite being so busy the staff were really friendly and happy. The food is very reasonably priced, I thought, for a holiday establishment, and arrived quickly. There was live music on the night we were there, which was very good, and the walk up through the woodland, with all the lights, was magical! Food: 5

Best option for burgers in the area. Very nice food, a lovely location, and very competitively priced. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Absolutely awful experience. Packed beyond belief with tightly packed picnic benches covered in food on the tables and floor. Extremely noisy with many screaming kids in too small a space. 2 hour wait for food that was then awful pieminster pie should be amazing but serves with gross mash, and pizzas that tasted like cardboard. Felt robbed after a 2 hour wait for take away food that we mostly left. Wouldn’t go back in a million years sorry.
I've been itching to get here since they changed up the menu but just haven't managed to time it right. But after staying at the Basecamp the weekend we came down to do some tobogganing and had lunch in here after. The staff were super friendly and despite a queue everything went really quickly and easily. The food was hot, fresh, good sized portions, and super tasty. I especially recommend the K2 burger and the pulled pork fries. The variety was nice and the food really tasty. Will definitely have to get back.
