I have had excellent service every time! Food was delicious and hot! I have never had to wait very long! You have a new business that has opened their doors trying to get the kinks worked out. So many negative comments on a forum that so many people read. Barefoot worked hard to open their doors back up and serve the people! Keep up the good work! I'll be back this week!
Good fish, shrimp, and chicken at a decent price. Fries are average and if you don't catch the dinner rush around 530, service is a average speed but friendly
Drove nearly 3 hours round trip to relive my Barefoot days. The catfish fritters were great but about half as many as before and higher priced. The house(poppyseed) dressing was horrible. Barely flavored straight up oil! Grandson 's double cheeseburger was really good and the appetizers are just frozen/fried with prepackaged sauces. The Pepsi/ice/red cup was spot on! Waitress was odd but pleasant. Only came back once to check on us and the place wasn 't but maybe 25% full. I wouldn 't make the drive again just to eat there. The old saying, you can 't go home again came to mind. It 's a good little restaurant but just not Barefoot to me.
I wasn't pleased with the daily special, the mashed potatoes were dry and the gravy was cold as was the corn . And the fried chicken was greasy . I ordered a side salad and it cost almost $5.00 for a little bitty bowl . Not going back . I realize they have to pay for the new restaurant but they shouldn't rip off the public to do so.
The Fried ? and Catfish Fritters were both a little too salty for our tastes. But no other complaints. I liked the potatoe salad.Parking: Gravel parking lot is a little soft in spots from the recent rains.Wheelchair accessibility: Dad's power chair is able to access the dining area without issue. But he had a very hard time fitting in to the restroom.
