Hardin Drive In

The ice cream here is good, but nothing on the menu is particularly standout. What makes this place special, however, is its charming vintage diner atmosphere. The staff is always friendly, and it’s conveniently located next to the scenic Illinois River in the lovely Calhoun County. All of these factors make it worth a visit, though keep in mind they don’t accept cards.

A quick taste of home-cooked goodness! I was looking for a fast meal because I was hungry and needed to get home to my pets. Within just five minutes, the lady had my meal ready at the counter. I was pleasantly surprised to see how well-packaged it was, complete with napkins and a fork. And let me tell you, it was delicious! I’ll definitely be back, as there are so many options to choose from.

I've been getting ice from here all my life. It is always delicious, and the service is friendly.

Great little place in Hardin just south of the bridge. Great burgers (they’re big, order conservatively) and catfish fritters. Pretty extensive menu of food, drinks, and ice cream. First time here. Will definitely be back.

First time but food was good and reasonably priced. Will try again and have something else.
