The food offered here is very delicious and they serve the poori in leaves which I liked very much. I've given one star less because of slightly overpriced menu. Apart from the price it is really a must visit place to have some authentic delicious vegetarian food of Haridwar.
This is quite a gem in the cacophony of Haridwar. A nice open restaurant, tasteful decor and ambience(do remember that i am comparing it with what I see around me in Haridwar). The food, i tried the Poori platter with 3 types of veg was lip smacking good. Never missed the fact that there were no onions used in the cooking.
Mind-blowing food. The sabji is served on big leaves and the puris are fried only when you order. The Gajar Halwa ia perfectly sweet (less sweet) and ia to die for. The chole bhature were also good. But if you have to eat one thing, has to be the Puri bhaji... The chandrakala was also lovely... All this with very humble service, big clean place to sit and eat.. It's a must visit..
Very tasty food... Near by halki podi ganga ghat.. I ordered the thali food and got many food dishes including sweets Good in taste Best in food Good in location Value for money
A touch over economical, a poori sabzi costs you 90 bucks.A lassi costs you 50 bucks. Lunch is available only after 12noon. Morning will only have breakfast which includes poori bhaji, chole bhature, kachori and samosa. Sweets are available all day and so is lassi and tea. Though the lassi was sufficient in quantity i wasnt impressed with the consistency... Maybe Jodhpur has spoiled me with the consistency of makhania lassi. Their seating is pretty spacious and well lit.
