When it came, the sausage was slit which creates more crispy areas. Frankly, I haven't seen many sausages slit although I do know some places do that. Overall, my egg and sausage was delicious with some brown sauce finished with tea. The owners where really nice and let me eat my delicate cake from Raabs which saved me having to take it home.
This restaurant does not comply with health and safety regulations and the management is extremely poor. They prioritize their business over following noise level rules, as their outdated extractor system does not meet current laws. The extractor pipe should be covered with panels to reduce noise, but their old system fails to do so and exceeds permitted noise levels. The constant noise has caused headaches and potential hearing loss. Additionally, their old AC model poses health risks, as they neglect to replace it in order to save money. It is advised to avoid this restaurant for the sake of your health and safety.
I popped into the cafe as I wanted a quick hot lunch while working in the area. There's a decent range of hot and cold lunches and drinks. I opted for a jacket potato which arrived fairly quickly. There was a questionable gooey cheese on top which was ok and a bit of salad. The coffee was decent, especially for a lunchtime place.
This restaurant is a great option for an affordable and decent sandwich or burger. It's definitely better than Pret or Eat. The decor is typical for a cafe, and the service was friendly.
During my stay at the Travel Lodge in Finsbury Park, I had breakfast at this restaurant. It was delicious, freshly cooked, and very affordable. This was the best breakfast we had during our stay, so I highly recommend paying a visit if you're in the area.
