Taco Mayo - Harrah

Have not had potato locos in a looooong time since I haven't been to Taco Mayo in a looooong time. Stopped by today to try some and they are NOT how I remembered. These were mush and actually clumped all together and took the shape of the little bag they were in. Seasoning tasted like I remember, but I liked them better when they had a crisp to them and you could pick one up with your fingers. These were more like oily undercooked loose hash browns

Food was excellent. Service was terrific. No 5th Star until I can come in and eat.

Make yourself a favor and go somewhere else. I know there are any inflation, but do you really have the Tacos Mini Tacos for 2.00? They are much smaller than they use to not bigger than their sauce packs now. Not much to fill was damn close to an empty shell on all Tacos. I can buy a pack of shell in the store for 1.79, why are you going back to pay 1.99?? Also charge an extra .15 sauce packs? Taco Bell, Taco Casa, Taco Bueno doesn't do that. A pack for 2 items seems OK because of the size of the packs) but not if you share the food among a few people. This place was dead on a Friday night at 5:00 no one in a car on the ride thru when I left. Had taken my 20.00 elsewhere for our dinner. If this location is sick for more than a few years, it's surprising. Will be like the one in MWC yesterday. I don't recommend being back. There is a Taco Bell about 6 miles west of the Mayo in Harrah it is worth the extra time and gas to go there instead.

This place is a shell of his former self. The bathrooms were not clean. There was no toilet paper in the men's bathroom. Salsa Bar no longer exists. The coke machine in the lobby is no longer usable. There was a skeleton team. There are signs everywhere that prices are rising on objects. Also something about a sauce package per 2 article. The menu prices have jumped at least 60-70 percent. I hate seeing places like this.

This location always offers fast and fresh food. The crew is friendly and helpful. To order my favorites are the taco salad or tostada and, of course, the potato locos.
