Parking is difficult as it is everywhere in Harris Park, so you might need to go a few blocks when you go in the evening. We couldn't book because the phones were out, but it wasn't a problem coming at 7:00. Our table enjoyed a variety of foods, but my favorite was the lamb and okra, others enjoyed the butter chicken and lahori fish. Service was great and we didn't have to wait long for food. Overall, I would definitely go back because it was not overpriced and the flavors were definitely Pakistani.
I have had much better meals elsewhere. The food was poorly prepared and all tasted stale. The naans were too thick and there was an excessive amount of salt in everything. I would not recommend this restaurant.
I have dined at Desi Hut several times. However, I have found that the food and service are not consistent, including the portion sizes.
I have tried multiple dishes at this restaurant and was pleasantly surprised. It is a fantastic spot for authentic Northern Indian cuisine, offering exceptional quality, reasonable prices, and fresh food. This small establishment has great potential for success.
We ate Paneer mutter, Vege Biryani and an appeticer with cucumber and yogurt and kumin that the staff brought out free of charge. All tasted delicious(! , the best food we had in a loooong time. Friendly staff too. We bought a desert, some balls in transparent sauce (don't remember the name to take away that also was delicious. A wonderful experience. The only complaint I have is the decoration that was a bit sterile and the tables that missed a table cloth. No music and it was silent as a graveyard
