While it might be a little tricky to locate since it's tucked away in a small shopping center, it’s one of several dining options in the area, making it convenient for lunch breaks with plenty of available parking.
Great people, food, wine and beer in a nice quiet restaurant. Good salads and in a good, light, low traffic area of the city. Baked spaghetti with provolone cheese always great. The staff is always happy to see you and service is quick and with a smile.
As for the veal, I had ordered it online and selected penne pasta, but what I received was spaghetti instead. Not a huge deal in itself, but it added to my frustrations after the disappointing calamari and missing lemon. The pasta sauce was decent, and the pasta was passable, though the veal wasn't quite what I expected either; it resembled more of a veal stew than the dish I had hoped for. As I continued to eat, I noticed a strange aftertaste. It was almost as if the veal had been cooked well but was on the verge of going bad. I couldn't finish it and ended up throwing the rest away. The only redeeming aspect of the meal was the salad, which featured fresh greens and vegetables. My only complaint there was that it was quite small, leaving me still hungry after the main course was a bust. It's disappointing because years ago, I worked nearby and frequented this restaurant, sometimes even weekly. Their calamari and veal were among the best I could find in the city. After moving further away, I hadn't dined here for nearly three years—until tonight. I don't know what has happened in the intervening years, but it's certainly not the Francesco I remember. This was some of the worst Italian food I've ever had, and I genuinely worry that the calamari and/or veal might make me sick. I rated it 2 stars instead of 1 simply for the salad, pasta, and reasonable prices, but it was a close call.
We ordered delivery tonight, and the food arrived 15 minutes late and cold. Given the price we paid, it should have at least been warm. The flavors were great, but it's hard to enjoy cold food. To make matters worse, the delivery person didn’t even use an insulated pizza bag.
Placed take out order, showed up to restaurant after 30 minutes, and it still wasn’t ready and had to wait for 20 more minutes in their sweltering hot dining room. They weren’t even busy, there was no one in the dining room. Would give the pizza a 5/10 in quality. It was over cooked Definitely wont be back
