Chimes Cafe - Harrogate

A really pleasant café with fresh, delicious food at reasonable prices. Homemade abounds. Also proper Yorkshire hosts! A thoroughly enjoyable lunchtime for all of us.

Went in for brunch (simple egg and bacon sandwiches), excellent food and service. The scones were exceptional, you must try them

Stopped by for lunch and had the tomato and basil soup with fresh bread, a fruit scone with jam and cream, and a hot cup of coffee. The atmosphere was warm and friendly.

Excellent cafe situated right outside the Cathedral. We had done the park run at Fountains Abbey and were ready for a lovely breakfast. Poached eggs and avocado on toast were perfect. Marc makes all his own scones. We were too full so bought to take home ; we had the scones last night. They were perfect. Excellent cafe with great service and atmosphere.

What an absolute gem of a cafe in Ripon! Sausage rolls, flapjack, toastie and not to mention the BEST scones ever!! Always a pleasure to eat here as the food is wonderful and Mark and the staff are always so welcoming, eat local and enjoy!!
