Freshly cooked fish and chips. Hot and crispy. Staff very friendly and service quick. Hidden away off the main road but worth seeking out.

Normally it’s really good, freshly made but still quick. However, I had to wait for over 20 minutes to get a single portion of fish and chips (it wasn’t busy when I got there, only 2 others waiting) while the owner/ manager was just chatting to a mate. I understand that sometimes it takes a while to cook the food and that’s ok, but I didn’t even get an apology or them letting me know why it was taking so long. Just would’ve expected better from a business that we have used for years and is normally really good. The food itself is really good and is a high quality but the wait and lack of apology doesn’t make up for that.

First time, used to go to Olivers. Ordering you need a board outside saying what to do, then everyone will order, pay and wait. Worth the wait. Refreshed them in the Aga very good scran indeed.

I telephone ordered a Jumbo and chips on their 2nd day of opening after lockdown. The fish was probably the best I've ever tasted from a fish and chip shop. So well done guys on getting up and running so quickly and to such a high standard.
