Lovely country pub, Visited for a family birthday Sunday lunch, WOW, everyone’s plate was clean, there was 6 of us, with different tastes yet everyone agreed its was the best Sunday lunch we’ve eaten out. The shoulder of mutton was amazing, the beef was amazing, the ham was amazing, someone even had the steak Mushroom pie, again amazing

Great little find ! Very comfortable room, well appointed and good value for money. Dinner well priced , and great service. Kate the land lady understands what good service is all about . Best room we booked over the weekend , we will be back !

Booked a a night away to chill, could not fault anything about this little amazing place. We enjoyed all the food it was outstanding we had afternoon sandwich few drinks, the evening meal was so tasty we had lamb followed by dillicious berry crumble. We had breakfast the next morning there was plenty of choice as well as been given the choice of having breakfast a little later or earlier the staff go above and beyond. The accommodation was exceptional and had everything you need it was very relaxing and quiet the bed was so comfy :

Top quality food served by enthusiastic staff (arare thing these days! Great pub in lovely location. Definitely recommend.
