The ale sampled was London Pride, absolutely first class in taste and crystal clear. Locals always friendly and nice to see old...skool darts still being played by regulars. So nice to visit a real pub with good beer, nice ambience. Dog friendly too. Long may Caroline and Steve continue to sail this ship. Have a peaceful and well earned Christmas, hope to see you in the New Year
Went out for a delightful meal with friends. The safety protocols were excellent, the staff was friendly, and the food was delicious. We decided to take advantage of the eat out scheme, and it was a great bonus! My burger was amazing, and they even accommodated our extra cheese craving. Thank you, Barley Mow! We will definitely be returning.
Enjoyed a nice pint in the sunshine after a paddle on the Basingstoke canal. The outdoor seating areas were pleasant. Although I didn't eat, the menu looked very appetizing.
We remember this place as an everyday pub and had some paintings changed the hands. we have just let ourselves in for a drink and light lunch to find that it was now a Greek restaurant. it is not formal and they can eat in restaurant or bar...area they even have beautiful heated cabins laid out outside with beautiful garden on flower beds. the menu has a large selection, but has a Greek or continental swirl. I had the bark bouruignon and my partner had a Greek tiger prawn saginaki, both of which were brilliant. the waiters were attentive and even closed a door that could lead to a caught without mentioning anything. the midday was very quiet here, but now it has a beautiful flow of customers and a certain atmosphere. price is very appropriate for quality and quantity. we will definitely return.
We enjoyed a beautiful meal in the barley mow. many of the choices for all, including vegetarian in our group.
