Capitol View Deli - Hartford

I think this deli is fantastic! My favorite is the Serenella (chicken cutlet), which I order most of the time, but I’ve always been pleased with any sandwich I’ve tried there. They have creative daily specials that are worth checking out. I highly recommend Capitol View and often encourage my friends to visit. There’s parking available in the back, or you can walk over like I do; it’s located diagonally across from the YWCA. This place is a true gem. Donna, the owner, treats her customers like friends, and you really do get a nice view of the Capitol at no extra cost! You should definitely go there and let them know ‘Serenella Bill’ sent you! I’m sure you’ll enjoy it.

Finding parking here is a hassle. However, the staff is always friendly, and the food is consistently excellent. I really enjoy the specials they offer. The Wi-Fi is available, and the restaurant is always kept nice and clean.

The sandwiches are quite good. I just found them to be slightly more expensive than average, but not excessively so.
