Hartford Steak Co. Tavern

The service was excellent, the prices were reasonable, and the food was outstanding! I could have sliced my steak with just a fork! What’s not to appreciate? If you're considering a trip to Hartford, it will definitely be worth the drive! And don't forget to try the key lime pie—it’s absolutely amazing!

We stopped by this restaurant while spending the night in Hartford on our way out west for vacation. I couldn’t believe how delicious the steak was for such an affordable price! The meat was incredibly tender, and that’s coming from someone who usually prefers their steak cooked medium. The wedge salad was fantastic as well – they serve a wedge of iceberg lettuce that’s kept super cold and presented on a chilled plate, which makes every bite wonderfully crunchy. The portions for the toppings and sides were also very generous! We would absolutely come back here if we’re in the area again!

I had a fantastic dinner with prime rib and a margarita! The service was excellent—very friendly and quick. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was enjoyable. Just a heads up about parking: it's a small lot, so you might have to walk a bit if you can't find a spot close to the building.

This place is super reasonably priced. Super good. Best part was the appetizer steak. Great food. Great service. Great prices. A super value.
