Ordered from here and went to pick up order. Bag was stapled so I didn't check my order. I figured I would pick up because delivery would take awhile. I didn't get an item in my order. Called the restuarant and they said they would deliver in 15 minutes. Its been 45 minutes and to top it off the food was nothing to brag about. I will not be ordering from this place again.
RUDE staff. Waited and waited for a large cheese pizza while the rest of my 9 family members got their food. Including other pizzas. I watched as two cheese pizza came out and was used for selling slices. When I asked nicely about it, (40 minutes later) I was met with a very rude tone and eye rolling. It wasn 't even that busy for Marc Anthony 's. I have been there many times before and was taking some out of town family there for amazing food. To say we were all disappointed is an understatement. The chicken parm- nothing special. Fried clams -old grease. Steak and cheese was just ok, pepperoni pizza was dripping with grease and paper thin crust. My pizza was packed up to go as the rest of my family was finished eating. I won 't be back! There are so many other places with better food and pleasant staff. Also any business that busy that is cash only seems a little shady... just sayin.
Whether you choose to dine in the restaurant or on the beach, Mark Anthony's rarely disappoints. It seems any time we go to Onset Beach we grab one of their Italian-style pies. When you walk into this eclectic and energetic space you can't help but notice the pizza chefs as they are prominently stationed near the front window. I think watching them knead and shape the dough as you order adds to the appreciation of your first bite into the crispy and chewy crust. The only time I had a bad experience at Mark Anthony's is when my teenage son wrapped his $700 retainer in a napkin so he could eat and I mistakenly threw it away thinking it was trash. Twenty minutes later we returned to the restaurant. This time my takeout included three garbage bags of trash that I brought home and searched. I never found his retainer, but I did learn that people love to put ketchup on everything.
The food is alright but the entire time I was there, Marc was touching the girls and speaking rudely to them making them visibly uncomfortable. I spoke with one of the girls there and I guess he constantly sexually harasses them. Will never be attending this place because of this man and neither should you.
