They are doing it in Manhattan and other places and it is only 1/2 a year. You have the luxury of year round growing. Can I come and show it off to you? Linda Baltes 320-491-0485
CLOSED! So sad to discover that one of my favorite Quechee eateries has closed its doors for good. Last year they changed owners and names (River Stones), and still seemed to try and keep the some of the same foods, but the new menu wasn't that great and the changes made to the interior robbed it of its warmth and charm, so about a month ago they closed unexpectedly and are no more.
Good food, atmosphere and service! I went there the first time only for drinks and they were delicious. Yesterday we decided to go to that place that makes delicious drinks for dinner and we were blown away! I ordered roasted chicken and my husband pork tenderloin. Both dishes were delicious. My only recommendation is to have less chicken and more gnocchi on the side! We will be returning to this place without a doubt!
It has a lovely pizza oven and nice ambiance. Unfortunately, the good stuff ends there. The food took forever to arrive and was hardly worth the wait. The margherita pizza was soggy and sorely lacking cheese. The stromboli was small, but that was probably a good thing, as the flavor was flat. The fish and chips was overly greasy and made my wife sick. My two year old enjoyed his pizza, and didn't even have to wait for it to cool down, as it came out cold. The waiter was nice and personable, but he wasn't enough to make up for a miserable experience.
Dead on a Saturday for lunch-that should have been a sign. 20 minutes to get the most basic green salad. Had to get up and get my own silverware. Descriptions of menu items did not include ingredients I don't eat. Overpriced.
