The Kitchen At Vivo - Hartford

Went to catch lunch during a conference next door at the conference center and was pleasantly surprised. It was a cool little niche with a modern feel. We were sat quickly, efficiently and the staff was very pleasant! The lobster roll with homemade French fries for $18 was delicious. Not only served to look pretty but the taste was excellent. Great value. The fries are a must! The chicken panini was also great!

Vivo was very accommodating- beautiful room, great food and wonderful service. It was the perfect place to celebrate our son’s graduation. Thank you!

Just visited with Vivo Italian Restaurant last night for dinner with my family and we all throughly enjoyed our meals, so delicious, and the service from Christine was top shelf! Christine elevated our dinner experience to be make it an unforgettable night! We were staying at the hotel and came here for breakfast Monday morning before checkout as it was convenient. Not sure if they work independently from the hotel or if the breakfast buffet is the standard Marriott fare with scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, oatmeal, yogurt, fresh fruit, etc. While it's a deal price wise at $19.99 with all beverages included, (most of the main breakfast dishes averaged about $16/$17), please partake of the option to have your eggs freshly cooked. The ones sitting in the pan were just god awful. Nothing on the buffet was hot, not even close. The home fries were obviously frozen and hard as a rock. The only thing I ended up eating all of was the fruit, a piece of bacon and a slice of toast. Coffee was served in a huge carafe for just one person and I had a pot of tea that could have easily satisfied 3 people so that was a plus. Jordan was our waiter and he was awesome but if here again, I would probably wander out and go someplace else.
