Jacksons Wharf - Hartlepool

Always good to eat here when visiting family in the area. They have a NGCI menu and a separate fryer for chips. I have eaten here many times and never been glutened. They also have genius rolls for burgers.

On arrival they let me know it was not a gluten free menu. But can highlight item that can be made gluten free. So ended up with a chicken and bacon sandwich with gf bread. The rest of the family had lovely meals. Would not recommend if your wanting a full meal.

These are part of the Marstons Group and have a dedicated Gluten Free menu which you can ask for at the bar. It’s not massive but there quite a few decent options on there including GF vegetarian options also.

Family visit for around 15. the employees were welcoming but short in the number, apart from the order and the food coming, that was it. order at the bar, no service. though relatiw quietly sold out a dozen other diners, cod and chips. (5 on Saturday) menu price at £15-£20 per meal. scampi and chips were a really small part, which remained hungry afterwards. the chicken burger was w bad quality, dry and overcooked. chips were in order, but insufficient for the smallest of appetite. other meal times were similar poor quality/quantity. no garland or by the side. small spoon of excavated and damaging semi-circle of brot cut into small triangles. Overall, the company was a good, decent atmosphere, but very disappointing quality of food and very small portions. I have the impression that they are trying to stretch spy. probably not very soon back. in comparison to others in the city, not as good value and food very poor. remains with raby arms or portofino’s.

Jacksons wharf offers a great 2 for 1 on his menu. Although the food seems overpriced at the nennwert, once considered that it is 2 for 1 it works at an average price. the personal is always very friendly and welcoming...and time to chat with customers who are always a nice note and shows personal suitable guest experience. with regard to cleanliness and tidins of the pubs it always looks right and feels right. it is clean and always looks imaginable. the toilets are also clean, whatever is a good thing! I would recommend to all families, couples and birthday meetings, as this is a pub that takes care of the experience for all customers.
