Young's Fisheries - Hartlepool

Lovely fish and chips. Two small cod and one portion of chips was enough for us 2 pensioners. I liked that they split the chips for us so we each had a box to eat from. Pleasant staff as well.......we would happily return if there again.

There are a handful of fish n chips shops in Seaton Carew but Youngs are definately my favourite for a bargain price. Small Cod and chips, side of mushy peas and a cuppa tea £6-20. Tasty fish and a decent portion of chips. Very nice!

On a warmish mid July sometimes sunny day, we parked in the car park and went looking for something to eat. Looked at the prices at one chip shop and walked over the road to Youngs to compare. Best move as we were served by a friendly young girl who explained about the value boxes and both of us chose a small box with chips, peas, fish and a drink for under under £7 each. Sat on a bench on the promenade, eating, watching the sea and it was great. Thoroughly enjoyed our lunch.

Myself and my family went to Seaton Carew and stopped to grab some lunch the staff were ignorant and completely ignored my five year old when he tried to talk to one of them, they had a disgusting attitude and miserable. When working in a place like Seaton Carew beach which should be family friendly I don’t think people like this should be able have jobs there.

Waited 1 hour even though there was about 7 people in front of me. After all that time it was soggy and tasteless. Everyone just stood about doing nothing talking and on their phones. People coming in from outside walking straight behind the counter and taking food (obviously must be friends of the staff) and then walking out in front of paying customers who have been stood there an hour! And kissing the girls behind the counter lol hygienic.
