Mr B's Seafood House - Hartsville

The food is enjoyable, but the saltiness is quite excessive—I felt like I was eating directly from a salt shaker. The chicken is overcooked, making it tough and dry. The barbecue could use a bit more seasoning too. However, the highlights of the menu are the creamed corn, macaroni, dressing, and butter beans. The biscuits are heavenly, but they can be overcooked. Overall, it’s just basic fare that could be transformed into great food with a few adjustments.

My family and I have always been pleased with the food and service at Mr. B's. The fried chicken and vegetables are fresh and delicious. We can’t wait for our next visit!

Closed on a Saturday night? We were there at 5:00 pm, last Saturday. The place was totally deserted.
