Black Eyed Susans Tavern

We hosted our wedding reception at Black Eyed Susans, and we couldn't have chosen a better venue. The room was stunning, the food was incredible, and the staff—including the servers, bartenders, and the owner—were all fantastic and very accommodating. We highly recommend Black Eyed Susans! You truly are wonderful!

I had a fantastic experience! The energy was vibrant, the atmosphere was fantastic, and the crowd was lively. The owners were amazing and genuinely involved in the whole experience. The pizzas are definitely the best on this side of the island. The Gazpacho was delightful and brought a smile to my face. Plus, the wine list was a lot of fun!

We've been loyal patrons of this restaurant for many years and have always cherished it. As residents of LBI, we truly value our local dining options. Tonight, we had a reservation for two and our babysitter. When we called to add our child to the reservation, we were treated very poorly. You would think they would be understanding, or at least polite. Unfortunately, the person we spoke to, who I believe was a manager, was quite insulting. She remarked that the tables were only 24 inches apart! My family and I have dined at this restaurant countless times, spending hundreds of dollars on meals, and while the food is good, I have never experienced such poor customer service anywhere else. I will not be returning again. It’s disappointing because the chef is talented, but it's important for management to be aware of how their staff treats customers. What a shame.

This restaurant was just what our family was looking for at a great beach weekend. The apps were satisfactory? The net was perfect with fresh flavors?? The cocktail was delicious? And to finish a perfect Saturday night? What else can you ask? Oh, yes, the very helpful and informative staff. I had a few questions to eat and they advise me on the way! They also have a large space for large groups and events, if necessary. Look at her next time!

This absolutely one of the best restaurants on LBI!! You will not find a more friendly staff, service is incredible, food is more than delicious. Whether you are having a simple pizza or one of the amazing fish dishes. Chef Chris has a way of bringing out all of the flavors. The black garlic cesar salad is a must start. I highly recommend this restaurant, we go at least once a week.
