Yuan's Buffet - Hastings

My first visit to this restaurant was a pleasant surprise. The Chinese American cuisine was the best I've had in years, with the added bonus of delicious ribs on the menu. Despite not being a seafood fan, I was impressed by the variety of options available, including sushi and a Hibachi bar alongside the regular buffet. The hot and sour soup, stuffed mushrooms, and all the chicken and beef dishes were fantastic. The prices were reasonable, the staff was friendly, and the bathroom was clean. We will definitely be returning to Yuan - it's always exciting to discover a new restaurant that exceeds expectations.

I was pleasantly surprised as someone who usually doesn't eat Asian food. While it may not match up to the larger all-inclusive teppanyaki restaurants, as a smaller neighborhood spot, it's excellent. I will definitely be returning on my own accord. The food is delicious, the staff is attentive, and I was very impressed.

The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the plates were cleared quickly. I would give it 5 stars, but unfortunately, we will not be returning. I had a severe allergic reaction, likely due to the use of MSG, and had to make multiple trips to the bathroom. This morning my oldest child also felt unwell. However, my youngest child and their friend are feeling fine so far. I would advise those with allergies or sensitive stomachs to be cautious when dining here.
