As a visitor to this region, my friends took me here for a drink. Upon entry we went to the bar, the barman stood there and simply looked at us, he did not even bother to say hello. We ordered some snack meals, when delivered we did ask if they were bringing the 2nd one out as we ordered 2, We were politely informed that both were on the same plate, $20 for 6 bite of 1 thing, 6 bites of another, and 1/4 scoop of chips... My friends being local to the Hawkes Bay were even embarrassed with the poor service etc, and said even they won't go back let alone take visitors. This is one bar that has forgotten what hospitality is actually about...

Had a house wine was quite relaxed. Watched the all blacks beat the wallabies. It was now 8.30. On a SATURDAY. You said I’ll punch you in the balls. At 8.30. What is going on.
