Siam 2 - Hastings

Came all the way from Australia to have dinner here. Pad Thai was very nice and the green chicken was one of the best I’ve had. Would recommend!

My husband and I booked a table here for a belated 50th birthday meal we have a mutual love of Thai cuisine plus the cosy interior appealed to us. Having tried numerous Thai restaurants in the past (so we're hard to please! we were really bowled over by the following: the friendly, courteous and professional service, the freshness of the ingredients used and the complex and fragrant combinations of flavours. We so enjoyed our fish dish (Plaa Ma Naew a beautifully steamed fillet of fish with an incredible sauce that literally sung with flavours that it was a bonus when the chef brought the dish to the table herself and could explain about the herbs involved. We would definitely recommend Siam 2 and will be returning soon.

The food at this restaurant is absolutely delicious. The decor is both beautiful and authentic. However, what truly sets this place apart is the exceptional and friendly service. The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and went above and beyond to make a birthday celebration extra special. We only wish this restaurant was closer to us so we could dine there more often. This place is truly a hidden gem in Hastings!

A wonderful host and hostess, impeccable service and a delightful atmosphere. We were made very welcome even though we had not booked. Chris has an excellent knowledge of the wines in particular and Wow (think her name was) gave great advice on the menu. The mixted starter for 4 was just the right amount and not at all heavy or oily. My main course was beautifully spiced and the fish cooked nicely. Will certainly be visiting this little oasis in the old town again.

Our family was looking for an experience for a night out as hadn't been out for years and we wanted to celebrate my son's GCSE results. We couldn't have picked a better place! The service was impeccable, lovely Val and her husband were so friendly and welcoming, we loved their conversation. Food was incredible, freshly cooked and nothing was too much trouble everything catered for and could be adjusted according to dietary preferences. One of our party was a vegan and the Pad Thai was not cooked with fish sauce. Such an enjoyable evening thanks to these 2 wonderful people. Ps. you have to leave room for the banana fritters with honey, ice cream and fresh raspberries xx
