The Imperial - Hastings

The pizzas of the imperial are great. they are a good size and use really delicious toppings. the personal is friendly and the service is always friendly and the pizzas arrive quickly. they serve a good selection of beers (not sure whether they are vegan) and have a great selection of soft drinks (of which some are vegan.) the only small weight I have is that they offer only a vegetarian pizza as standard and calculate an additional £1 for the vegan cheese, although they are not with cheese.

Found this on happy cow after staying at the Bay Tree (vegan B&B) just up the road. Absolutely fantastic! They serve vegan cheese on their pizzas and have great craft beer if that's what you're into. Also worth mentioning that they are dog friendly. We had an amazing time would highly recommend!!!

Brilliant place that makes at least two delicious vegan pizzas at any time (including a melting vegan cheese-life? Really great pizza base and toppings. Some of the best vegan pizza we had. Their own beer was vegan (or at least those I tried, and they always know which beers are vegan (usually several). Beautiful pub and very friendly people who do not make you be strange for vegan! Update: In our opinion, this has gone down in the last few months since the pizza cook has gone. So we have reduced from 4 to 3 stars. Pizza is still beautiful and they still do vegan options, but much less consistent for example when one of the pizzas came very burned and it is strange that they calculate a pound for vegan cheese if any vegan option means leaving 2 4 other things. More update July 2018 Original Pizza Cook is back! and the pizza is back to their previous fantastic quality. You calculate even more for vegan cheese, and the menu has no obvious vegan options, so you need to have a chat with them, but we have it much less now that its delicious refreshed from previous review on 2017 08 07

The Imperial's pizzas are great. They're a good size and use really tasty toppings. The staff are friendly and the service is always friendly and the pizzas arrive quickly. They serve a good selection of beers (not sure if they're vegan) and have a large choice of soft drinks (some of which are vegan). The only minor complaint I have is they only offer a vegetarian pizza as standard, and charge an extra £1 for the vegan cheese, even though you're not having cow's cheese.

A cosy pub with warm friendly atmosphere. Pizza has an amazing wood fired crust. Beers are excellent
