I was looking for a pub that could accommodate both a puppy and a large group, so we decided to give this place a try. Booking online was straightforward, even for a big party. We had a wonderful time! The Sunday lunches were generously portioned, and we never felt rushed, despite the reservation indicating a 1.5-hour limit. The service was excellent as well. We visited last night and had not been for a while. Our son had a cheeseburger and said it was very dry. Both my husband and I had steak, ordered medium rare Husbands was ok, mine was closer to the middle rare if not raw. We told the waiter and he didn’t really know what we were talking about. He took it back and he came back medium with cold chips and my peppercorn sauce was cold too. The steak had just been dumped back on the plate with cold food. Not good, used to be our go to, not any more.
