This was our first visit to Topher's. Despite the late hour, and being in the drive thru, the staff was very courteous in helping us make our our order. We were greeted with another friendly person at the window. The Topher Burger was very good. The philly Cheese steak fries were spicy.
I grew up down the street from this location and have lots of memories of riding my bike up to the old Krystal's with a pocket full of change and gouging on Krystal burgers. I've heard a lot about Topher's and this was my first visit. Same layout as I remember from the 1980's but the burgers are way better. I was most impressed with the sourdough bun. I also had onion rings. I'd say little pricey at right over $9 but a good meal for sure.
We arrived 20 minutes before closing and were politely informed of the closing time. The staff asked if it was okay for us to dine at that time. They were very courteous. The service and food were outstanding. I will definitely come back.
Discovered this hidden gem during a brief road trip. Highly recommend it. Ordered the pimento burger and melt. If I happen to have a heart attack, at least it was a delicious last meal.
