Ich war zum ersten Mal mit Freunden in diesem tollen Restaurant. Ich kann nur Positives berichten; es ist ein wirklich schöner Ort, um gemütliche Stunden zu verbringen. Wir haben uns für die Rippchen entschieden und ich habe noch nie so zarte Rippchen gegessen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Sogar mit der Chefin habe ich ein persönliches Wort gewechselt. This is the second time we've eaten spare ribs at Blankenstein Castle and we're really impressed! The service, food, ambience, Christmas decorations and the view are a dream and we will definitely be back. Many thanks to the great team for three wonderful hours of hospitality! A great thanks to the team of the Blankenstein Castle! We couldn't find a better place for our wedding party on 12.08.17. We got married at the wedding church in Blankenstein, right under the castle. From there it went through the beautiful old town to the champagne reception to the castle. Although the weather did not play as much as we would have wished, but very much for our relief, the castle had prepared everything accordingly and we could enjoy the view over the Ruhr Valley undisturbed. Everything was so covered and decorated as freed and spontaneous change requests could be met. The service team was highly professional, drinks and food were always served quickly and also met special requests such as an emergency banana for the bride. We also liked the staff in the late evening hours for a little fun (Grandat Gandalf =D. The food was very delicious and was praised by many guests, the quality of the previous sample food was absolutely respected. Here again a great praise for the kitchen. As the only manoeuvre we must show that one of the drinks we want was not available in sufficient quantity, but also here the castle has shined and the staff sent out to supply supplies. We had the dance floor in the old chapel of the castle, especially cool is the design of historical and modern elements. For our company with almost 70 people, the dance floor had the right size. Although it was a bit tight during the wedding dance, after the company had already split between chapel and feast tent and in the size of the floor the mood was grandios. At this point also a warm thank you to the DJ LeBeat, recommended by the castle that heated the guests until the early morning (that was the hammer:D . If we were to marry again, we would definitely celebrate again in the castle! On 09.06.2018 we organized the celebration of our ecclesiastical wedding at the Schloss Blankenstein. The care was excellent from the first conversation until the day after the celebration. The way weddings are planned, there was something unusual at first sight, how to be invited to perform several times at other wedding celebrations, but this also proves to be a lucky case, because you can choose exactly what you want for your own celebration. The kitchen is excellent and enchants a great buffet, the dishes are always fresh and renovated. The staff is very careful, even at a later hour always friendly and never influenced. The DJ team Patrick and Taifun are highly recommended, the music mix fits the evening and the audience. Above all, however, nothing is promised by the organizer who does not follow, at any time again the first choice!
