Cafe Suiza - Havana

This place was pretty good. I walked in here and I saw the sign that says 5.5 cuc for breakfast. I also added a cup of coffee Americano. Even though the breakfast was very simple it was good and feeling the coffee was made very well and they even gave me brown sugar so that I could make my coffee the way I like it. The bread came with butter and strawberry jam and the bread was very hot. Perfect for melting the butter and spreading the jam. I would come back here!

Good place for breakfast. Our breakfast included ham and cheese. Just the ham is not ham it is some cheap salam

We have poisoned by food here! 40 hour gone! bad bad bad! Becarefull! Totally dangerous!

Great and cheap breakfast. Very recommended. People are also nice and friendly. It also serves fresh pineapple juice with breakfast.

I went to a local tourist office and asked where I could find the best Cuban food (do your research before, as this is a common tourist trap). I was told Cafe Suiza and was disappointed to learn that this was actually Italian food and not really Cuban food! It was about 3:00 and I hadn't eaten that day because I traveled, so I stayed... and I'm SO GLAD I DID! I don't have a big appetite, even if I didn't eat all day, but that was literally the best pasta I ever had. I think it was called Pasta Con Picadillo Y Queso. I also had a mango smoothies de pura fruta, which was refreshing but just okay. I think my American palate is more used to sweet smoothies, and while something sweet it was just a mixed mango and ice. Including tip, my meal total $12 CUC. Every penny worth it!
